Beaded Bracelets
Orange, Gray & Lavender Beads & Leather Rustic Bracelet:
This piece is the closest I'll ever come to being an "Artist". I had a couple of gray and orange beads (on the bottom strand above) and I was looking at them, pondering on what could possibly be paired with the colors without falling back on the 2 aforementioned colors... Silver was the obvious tone for the "findings" (aka spacers, chains, closures and the likes). But what about other bead colors? Or other materials for that matter? Brown was the logical addition; grayish-lavender was the risky one. I used both (the gray-lavender beads are on the center strand)... In artificial light, the lavender tone is practically non-existent, whereas in the daytime, it is revealed in a discreet and somewhat muted manner, which makes it not so daring after all... And I thought I was finally using my right brain... I added leather cord in brown and reddish to match the focal ceramic bead, knotted them in the center, and wrapped them tightly in silver wire to link them to the chain (top strand above). I finished it off with a cute silver-colored heart-shaped lobster clasp and added a little leather cord dangle on the chain meant to make the bracelet's length adjustable. I am somewhat "happy" with the result as it has a rustic look to it! Thank you for reading!
